Management of WASTE WATER, AIR EMISSIONS & SOLID WASTE:
By the efficient use of a multiple effect evaporator and incinerators, Sajjan manages the disposal & recycling of liquid waste. The multiple effect evaporator distills out water from the liquid effluent which is then re cycled.
We are an equity partner with the local government in a Waste Water pipeline project.
Gaseous emissions are scrubbed by the use of well designed scrubbers.
Solid waste is transported to government approved disposal sites.
Re CYCLING & By-PRODUCT RECOVERY to minimize waste.
HEALTH & SAFETY
We protect our employees from chemical & physical hazards. Appropriate controls & necessary technical protective measures are in place to mitigate health & safety risks in the workplace. Safety information on identified workplace risks is provided to the workforce along with corresponding training to ensure adequate protection.
All employees are provided with personal protective equipments.
Complete medical facilities are provided & a fully equipped medical center & an ambulance are available on-site.
Fire fighting equipments are placed at appropriate locations. Water hydrants & sprinklers located in several places in the site are maintained at a constant pressure. Water reservoir of 600 m3 on-site is reserved exclusively for fire fighting.
Alarm Systems & Emergency Shutdown procedures are in place.
